The SOMA CUBE is just one example of our PUZZLES. The original was invented in 1936 by the Danish mathematician and games inventor Piet Hein. The origami version uses so-called Sonobe modules. The sonobe module was very probably designed by Mr. Mitsunobu Sonobe - there are some discussions as to whether it could have been the Japanese folder Toshie Takahama - in the late Sixties. Since then, the module has become more and more popular, since it allows the construction of many geometric models.
